Tri-City Wood Bat League

League Play Starts July 2011

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide our young athletes an additional outlet for high caliber baseball. Our goal is to promote and foster the competitive relationship between our communities while exposing our athletes to scouts and coaches. The focus is to prepare them as athletes as well as men while instilling them the necessary work ethic to succeed.

About the League

Tri -City Wood Bat league is a summer series comprised of young athletes from East Alabama and West Georgia. Tri- City brings teams from the region together to play in a wood bat league unlike any other in the area. League play is split into three age groups and each team will face the best competition from the area within their group.

We aren't seeking to undermine the efforts of organizations such as Dixie, Little League or Babe Ruth. The purpose is to add a layer at the top of expanding youth baseball market to ensure that the top baseball players have a chance to compete against each other and in front of scouts and college coaches. We wish to provide kids another outlet for sports during the time in which they would normally be idle, to continue to develop the talent and reputation our area has as a baseball stronghold throughout the Southeast and further expose our youth to the great game of baseball.
